Chuck Bartowski was kicked out of Stanford and is working a dead end job as a computer technician. This all changes when an old college room mate e-mails Chuck 'the intersect' which downloads all of the most classified Government secrets into Chuck's brain. Chuck becomes a reluctant 'spy' along with his handlers Casey and Sarah.

They wage battle with the shady organisations such Fulcrum and The Ring who are after the intersect and the secrets it contains.

At first all Chuck wants is to live a normal life, and have a normal girlfriend!

When Chuck receives an 'upgrade' to the intersect which allows him to instantly acquire skill-sets required to be a spy (martial arts, fighting, bomb defusing, etc.) he becomes a more enthusiastic member of the team!
