Friends follows the lives and loves of a group of six New York dwellers over ten years from their carefree early twenties into their (responsible?) early thirties.

The underlying current of the show was always the 'will they won't they' relationship between Rachel and Ross... finally resolved at the end of the final series when they got together (and presumably) stayed together.

Friends was on air for a total of ten seasons.
