The State and Province flower bears were introduced through the summer of 2005 at the annual round of Toy Fairs.
There have been 16 bears released so far - but, as always, with Ty we expect the unexpected -after all, we thought we were done with the "I love" State Bears... until two newbies appeared in the winter of 2005!

Each bear has not only a poem inside the hang tag, but
also states the year that the flower became the official state flower, and also
has some facts about the flower and a link to the state website. This means that
each side of the tag is full of text and there is no list of Ty locations on the
left hand side of the tag.
