BALL PARK BEANIES Ty's headquarters are in Oakbrook, Illinois. These explains why there are more than a few Beanie that have some link to the Chicago Cubs. (For those who have trouble with geography Chicago is also in Illinois!) Addison was given away at the Cubs game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 20 2001 at Wrigley Field. Although originally exclusive to this occasion Addison was later available at retail. Not usually something that happens to baseball give-away Beanies! Although originally quite expensive to buy, Addison did not hold is value - and is one of the more affordable "Baseball Beanies". Addison has also been used as a promotional give-away in Japan, where he wears a promotional T-shirt and extra swing tag.

| Baystars the Bear and Winstar the Bear are Japanese Exclusives. Both are named for the Japanese Baseball Team the Yokohoma BayStars. The team plays in the Central Division and won the Pennant of that division in 1998 (which is referenced in the poem of Winstar). |
