30th December, 2005 New releases are introduced on the Ty Website: Punxsutawney Phil 2006, Eggs 2006 the bear, Lucky O'Day the bear, Fluff the Cat, Veggies and Sunbonnet the Rabbits, Meekins the Lamb, Happy Birthday the Bear (brown), Erin the Bear (same as the Beanie, but a keychain!) and finally Cool Chick and Hutch Clutch who appear to be bags.
30th December, 2005 The Promise Bears silently retire from the Ty Website.
29th December, 2005 A massive retirement is announced today. Goodbye to the following 57 (!) 14th November, 2005 A new Japanese Exclusive Beanie Baby Senna-Kun for Motomachi Kitamura, Japan.
5th November, 2005 The Harrods exclusive Beanies are available to buy at Harrods. 1st day of purchase special editions in boxes with numbered certificates are available. The grey Beanie is sold out on the first day! Read the report here.
4th November, 2005 Grams and Gramps retired from the Ty Store.

2nd November, 2005 Icepak is introduced at the Ty Store, a WWF Beanie.

Also the Alphabet Beanies - which are about Jingle/Basket size but are listed in the 'current Beanies' section on the Ty site.
26th May, 2005 Ty retires: Pretzels, Dearly, Mom, Bianaca and Canada.

5th May, 2005 Delights the Pinky is introduced at the Ty Store.

29th April, 2005 A whole heap of beanies were introduced today: Thomas, Benjamin and John (American themed bears); Free the Eagle, American Blessing (the praying Bear), Cool Cat (Garfield in sunglasses), Cheesly, Dad and Opie (retail versions) and Villager the Moose (Canadian Exclusive).
28th April, 2005 Poet, Always, Peeps and Colorado retire today.
27th April, 2005 Smarty the Owl is now available at the Ty Store - a slightly different version from the one available at retail.
25th April, 2005 Opie the Octopus is retire already!
23rd April, 2005 Opie the Octopus, exclusive to the Ty Warner Sea Centre is introduced. The introduction says "SeaCentre Edition" which makes us wonder if there will be a general retail edition?
20th April, 2005 Holy Father is introduced in honour of Pope  John Paul II.
5th April, 2005 Mom-e 2005 now available at the Ty Store.
5th April, 2005 I love Tennessee, I love New Jersey and I love Las Vegas are introduced.
1st April, 2005 New Beanie Baby of the Month for April 2005, Serenade the Robin is introduced.
1st April, 2005 Fritters is retired.
31st March, 2005 New introductions for April: Happy Birthday (apparently new "smaller size"), We Do (new bride and groom bear, joined at the foot!), Hobo (a dog), Smarty (Class of 2005 owl), Bandage (a "get well soon" bear), Baby Girl (a pink bear with a bow by her ear clutching a
blanket) and Baby Boy (wearing a baseball cap and clutching a baseball).
